A Tour of Cotytto

Cotytto is our friend's 56ft. Bruckmann, welcome aboard.

Day diligently cleaning Cotytto. A look from the bow, back at cabin and the fly bridge above.

A better look at the bow, which is quite roomy.

From mid ship, starboard side, looking forward.

Looking aft, towards the stern.

Port side, looking forward towards the bow.

Aft is a direction, and it means "towards the stern."

At the stern, looking forward.

Again, at the stern looking forward, and from here you can see the fly bridge.

The door goes down into the salon, and steps up to the fly bridge.

During the day, this is where we spend most of our time.

The captain can run his boat from up here (and occasionally me) there is a fridge and...

plenty of comfortable seating. And of course, we never go out without flying "Old Glory."

Down inside the salon...

straight ahead is the helm on the starboard side, the kitchen area on the port side.

This area is part of the kitchen, having the sink, dishwasher, refrigerator, the oven, and storage.

The helm.

Turn around and this is the main seating area in the salon.

A few more seats, and, a piano! Yes there is a key board under the counter on the port side. And straight ahead is the door to the aft stateroom, the bedroom in the back of the boat, or, the captain's quarters.

Down we go...

this stateroom is big and beautiful.

Big bed, plenty of drawers, storage, and don't you just want to fill that shelf with dozens of leather bound classics, and spend all your nights reading down here?

I can imagine myself going through mine and Day's portfolios here, making sure we can continue to enjoy our retirement.

More drawers and a closet. What a beautiful stateroom which...

comes with it's own head and shower.

That was aft, and the captain's end of the boat. this is forward, and the guest's end of the boat.

Down the stairs and the first door starboard side...

is more galley type stuff, a pantry, refrigerator, microwave, cook top, etc.

First and only door port side is the "port side stateroom"

This is a great room, don't let the bunks fool you. Plenty of room, and storage, a desk, I love this room.

This is an adults fort!

Second door starboard side, is the head and shower that the guests share.

A straight ahead is the forward stateroom or the V-berth.

Sitting on the bed looking aft. starboard side you can see a private entrance to the shared head. Port side you can see a pretty nice TV, there are four on the boat, one in each stateroom and one in the salon.

The shower.

A closet.
