An Introduction to the "Daily Log."

As with any group of friends or family, everyone has their role. This is no different when we are aboard the Cotytto.  Each of us wanting to help out and find our place. Dan, of course, is the Captain.  As far as Captains go, he's pretty easy going-if we didn't love him as much as we do, I'd say a mutiny would be pretty doable. Curly has had many roles: Navigator, Engineer, Relief Captain, but the one he likes best is Co-Captain. Day is our galley wench and a pretty good one at that. She can make snacks out of almost anything she finds on board. David, is the jack of all trades. Willing to help but also just as willing to stay up top with Dan. Funny, given he spent 6 months on a fishing boat in Alaska-he'd rather stay quiet and out of the fray. Me, well, I fancy myself the deck boss.  I like to learn about throwing lines, docking, and all things boat. One of the chores that seems to be mine is keeping the ship's log when we go out.

Recording engine hours, oil and coolant levels, minor boat issues, and the events of the day and night. So it seems that that task falls to me on the blog. I think that Curly has a knack of putting our adventures on paper; however, I do not claim to be as good at it. But I will do my best, and hopefully it'll be entertaining.

Entries can be found in the right hand column under "Ship's Daily Log."
So stay tuned.........
Susan
